Tim Plus & The Plus Band deliver quite possibly the best German HipHop show you’ll witness in the next decade – having already convinced the likes of Blumentopf and Clueso. Growing up as a typical product of German rap’s peak-time, Tim quickly developed a sixth sense for witty kitchen sink poetry and cinematic storytelling. However, what happens on stage is far from being overly introspective but as energetic as a fusion of funk, electro and boom-bap can get. Tim Plus debut LP „Nächster Halt“ received high praise from critics and fans alike, featuring 12 truly original gems that perfectly fill the gap between your Peter Fox and The Roots records – Music that simply demands to be performed. The beats are usually produced by Jazz-trombone player Til Schneider before the Plus Band puts finishing touches on the arrangements. When it comes to live-performance, Tim goes on stage with its soundful “Plus Band” or he brings up his soundsystem compounded by DJ Scrounger and the additional “Plus” drummer Niklas Schneider.
